Atelier Simonet is an official venue for Naka ryu, one of Japan’s major styles. For Docvale, the challenge is to offer students a regular curriculum in which he teaches his interpretation of the style to students from beginner to advanced level.

The aim of the Atelier is to provide ongoing learning. That’s why we aim to provide students with a solid technical foundation, whatever style they wish to practice.

L’Atelier also offers one-off courses on specific themes, such as floorwork.

Free practice and supervised training sessions are scheduled on a regular basis so that everyone can practice, watch and chat.

Our regular classes are taught in french, you can attend if your partner can translate for you OR if you understand a bit of french then we can help in english during practice time. 
Most of our workshop are taught in english if we have english speaker participants. Those workshop titles and descriptions are written in english.
